At RBS we provide excellent technical support in a personal, accessible way. Our clients receive in-home or remote technical resolutions with (and most importantly) a personal and caring touch.

Job Description:

As a Support Specialist, you are a service provider for clients who require white-glove treatment and absolute discretion. We are primarily an Apple support company, mirroring Apple’s drive to provide simple yet useful technology solutions, particularly to those who consider themselves ‘technophobes’. We want to show people that technology does not have to be frustrating, but instead can make life easier and more joyful. You will provide tailored advice, and friendly, hands-on technical support. We do not use jargon with our clients. We explain things in simple and clear ways. You quickly diagnose issues, explaining situations with patience and compassion. Creating a safe space for our clients to explore and use their technology is our top priority. You will always be conscious of your client’s time demands as well as your own. You complete the appointment with style, speed, and skill, and mostly, with a smile. And you earn the trust of our clients with your demeanor and personality.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong people skills and a knack for problem-solving

  • Ability to provide VIP-level customer service for discrete and affluent clients

  • Ability to maintain composure and customer focus while troubleshooting

  • Strong technical knowledge of Mac products (Mac, iPhone, iPad and more), an aptitude for acquiring skills in technical repairs, and an eagerness to learn about popular technological products and devices

  • Ability to show patience with clients, "like you were teaching your grandmother"

  • Ability to adhere to a schedule of customer appointments

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to adhere to a schedule of customer appointments (day and night)

  • Knowledge of Windows systems and other mobile or computer platforms is a plus

  • Experience mounting TVs in an extra plus

Compensation:

  • $70/hr for 5-10 hrs a week
